Car Parking 

Parking is available at Candleston car park, the parking charges (correct as at November 2023) are:

 

Cars & Vans

1 hour: £1.50

Up to 2 Hours: £2.50

All day: £5

Annual Parking Permit: £100

 

Horse Boxes & Trailers, Mini Buses

£6 (all day)

Annual Parking Permit: £200

 

Coaches

£8 (all day)

Horse Riding


There are permissive (non-statutory) routes for horse riding starting at the Candleston car park.


Horse boxes can park in the Candleston car park which is a pay and display car park.


Please note: You need a permit to ride these routes. Permits are available from the Merthyr Mawr Estate Office, CF32 0LR; tel: 01656 662413.


PROW’s/bridleways are open to anyone free of charge.

Environmental Health including noise pollution, Trading Standards including Animal Welfare and Licensing is now delivered by the Shared Regulatory Service on behalf of Bridgend County Borough Council as well at Cardiff Council and the Vale of Glamorgan Council. Footpaths - A Footpaths Officer walks through the area once a year to identify and report any issues that require action. However, if you identify any issues please report them here.

All Saints Church Penyfai - Warm Welcome 


All Saints’ members have gained BAVO funding for a ‘Warm Welcome’ project.

 

Absolutely everybody will be very warmly welcomed, so please bring along any friends or neighbours who might benefit from a short time of fellowship and fun. Please spread the word far and wide. The details are set out below.
